A warm welcome awaits at our cottages that form part of a productive smallholding with private grounds of 14 acres on which we breed a selection of livestock.

The cottages have been converted from old stone farm buildings dating back to at least the 18th century and contain a lot of character. Tucked quietly down a country lane they are ideally situated whether you want to walk along the cliffs on the coast paths for dramatic and breathtaking scenery, taking it easy and getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life or visiting the many local places of interest. However you decide to spend your holiday there is always the sauna and spa to spend a relaxing hour.

A short walk will find the beaches and rock-pools of our local bay of Berry or Blackpool where children of all ages will love exploring. A little further a field the beaches and rock-pools of Sandymouth Bay, Welcombe Mouth, Bucks Cross and Widemouth Bay can be found.

The village of Hartland, which is within walking distance through ancient woods, offers a variety of shops e.g. green grocers, fish and chips, off licence/general store, craft shops, pubs, vets, doctors and post office/newsagent.

Our holiday cottages are based in North Devon, near a town called Bideford. Converted from period stone barns these cottages form part of a Devon smallholding with superb views of the surrounding countryside and out to sea. Perfect for that 'get away from it all' break with car free walks in many directions. They are also an ideal base to visit the many attractions that North Devon and Cornwall have to offer. Pets are welcome and children love feeding the animals. The surrounding area has a whole range of activities that caters for most people’s needs. Some of the activities in the surrounding area include: Surfing, Beaches, Golfing, Walking, Sailing, Cycling, Fishing, Bird Watching and many more. There is an activity for everyone.

In an idyllic rural position with expansive countryside views and to the sea beyond, each one of these cottages have been stylishly converted from former stone barns dating back to Medieval times. Set on a thriving small holding where the owners rear a selection of livestock they also boast a play area and shared sauna and spa facilities. The local area has been popular with film makers due to its timeless nature and fantastic scenery, recently King Arthur, Sense & Sensibility to name but two.
