Here is a cottage that you will easily fall in love with, it's pleasantly cool in summer and yet warm & cosy in winter. Porthole Cottage is a spacious light and airy three bedroom property, which can sleep up to eight guests. It is decorated throughout in calm neutral colours,and has comfortable furniture to relax upon.
The glass entrance porch leads you into a fairly spacious pine beamed lounge/diner that has a lovely brick fireplace. Behind a small section of glass, you will find a small exposed piece of wall showing the authentic wattle & daub structure used in the 17th century.
From the lounge/diner there is a very well equipped kitchen, which also has another dining area, but is slightly smaller.
Ground floor cloak toilet.
Leading from the rear entrance porch is a south facing garden with table & chairs and drying area.
The first floor double bedroom overlooking the Square, has a double bed & also an extra 3 ft single divan, which can sometimes comes in handy.
The second bedroom with the porthole window, has a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table & (fitted cupboard). On the landing there is an airing cupboard.
From the landing there is a bathroom with a bath with an overhead shower, toilet, wash basin and shaving point.
The second floor attic bedroom has three adult single beds, bed side tables set of drawers with mirror, & fitted cupboard, & wonderful views across the marshes and to the harbour.
